Guest Teacher at Gray's Woods Elementary School

During my time at Gray's Woods Elementary School in Port Matilda, PA I got the chance to co-teach a lesson with fifth graders. The students were told to think about a dream space. We asked the students to draw their dream space from an aerial view, as if it was a map. Each student had a section of a long sheet of paper, blocked off by boxes so that no other students could see. It was set up as an exquisite corpse format, allowing each dream space to flow into one another. The boxes were removed and the students thought of ways to connect their dream space maps to each other to make a cohesive work of art.
